Lypo-Spheric R-Alpha Lipoic Acid is an innovative product by Livon Labs that encapsulates R-Alpha Lipoic Acid in tiny ‘fatty’ bubbles known as liposomes. Liposomes provide a delivery mechanism for the R- Alpha Lipoic Acid.
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid is the natural form of Alpha Lipoic Acid that is made in the body. It’s a coenzyme and a powerful antioxidant. It is often referred to as the universal antioxidant because it is both water and fat soluble, enabling it to function in both the membrane and aqueous parts of cells, to help fight cell damaging free radicals in the body.
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid has key roles in supporting a healthy nervous system, blood sugar balance, heavy metal detoxification and mental clarity. It also has an important role in supporting the macular in healthy eyes.
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid also supports the regeneration of glutathione, which is considered to be the ‘master’ antioxidant.
To make stable nano liposomes Livon Labs use high grade essential phospholipids which are extracted from lecithin. These phospholipids are produced specifically for Livon Labs.
Each Lypo-Spheric sachet has 226 mgs of R-Alpha Lipoic Acid and 1,000 mgs of phospholipids of which 500 mgs is pure phosphatidylcholine.
This combination is the key to Lypo-Spheric R-Alpha Lipoic Acid’s delivery mechanism. Phosphatidylcholine is in many ways as important as the R-Alpha Lipoic Acid because it’s not made in the body, and it works to support the integrity of healthy cell membranes.
