HTN Boswellia is a perfect ''partner'' for Curcumin (the Golden Spice). Boswellia is a gum resin produced from the Boswellia serrata tree which is native to India. Boswellia is also known as Indian Frankincense. The herb has been used for thousands of years in traditional Ayurveda and is one of the ‘gifts’ we are told was carried by ‘the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem.
Frankincense is widely used today because it acts to support normal joint health, the upper respiratory system and the intestinal tract.

Native to India, the Boswellia tree thrives in very dry environments. Traditionally, resin from the tree is considered the beneficial part of the plant, and gathering it was a very ‘hands-on’ form of harvesting, bearing some resemblance to collecting sap to make syrup from sugar maples. When the bark of the tree is scraped, it secretes a resin called “tears.” The resulting gum from these tears is what has long been known as frankincense.

exclusively provides the key boswellic acid - acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid (AKBA). This amazing ingredient is standardized to 70% total organic and boswellic acids and contains >10% AKBA, which scientists identified as the most significant contributor to the properties of the Boswellia. The less desirable β-boswellic acid is reduced to less than 5% in this extract because it can actually interfere with the beneficial activity of Boswellia.
